I am from a tiny little dot on the world map called Singapore. know where is it?

I have heard of Singapore, but I don’t know much about it. What is it like?
Maryland is on the Eastern Shore of the United States, close to Washington DC and the Atlantic Ocean. We have a nice variety of beaches and mountains here depending on what part of the state you are in.

Singapore is a small, modern, city island at the south of Malaysia. It is so-called a sunny island because it’s always hot and humid here. We never get to experience the changing seasons.
Have you heard about the integrated resorts(casinos actually) they are going to build here? It’s going to be something like Las Vegas I guess.
I’m planning to go to California this summer. Have you been there?

I haven’t heard about any resorts or casinos in Singapore, but my knowledge of that area is very limited. Mostly just having heard the name mentioned here and there by other people. I’m almost jealous though, if you don’t have winter! I hate the cold weather where I live and I’m always saying I’ll move someplace without it!
I haven’t ever been to California, although I dream of going. I have friends who have lived there and they said it’s an amazing state, no matter what part of it you go. Do you know if you’ll be in northern or southern California? Let me know and I’ll try to get some suggestions for you of places to visit.

Sorry for the slow response!
My computer was dead for quite some time! Summer here is basically the end of May through September as far as warm weather goes. I don’t really get a summer vacation unless I choose to take some time off work. I really am a summer/warm weather girl though!
Hmmm, I don’t know what else to tell you about myself. I’m a part time college student, and I have been forever LOL! I’m thinking about going back full time though to finish my degree. I also love to paint, draw, and take black and white photos.

sorry for the late reply… I’m a 25 years old chinese working as a trainee engineer rite now…works been rather stressful. My field of work is in the aviation. I like soccer and running…do you?

LOL I totally missed this response!
Sorry I’m a few months behind! Right now I’m not actually in school, there has been a lot of confusing about where I am living and things so I decided not to re-enroll yet. When I do go back it will be to study art though.
As for the soccer and running, I’m not a huge fan. I love the outdoors, but I have a bad knee that makes running or playing many sports about impossible. I do like swimming and hiking though :)

do you remember I’ve told you I’m going to california? just came back from there recently, it’s really a nice trip. I enjoyed it very much. I’m sure I take time to visit Maryland also.
